Note that the grandparent sims must exist in full-sim form in town to be usable, however, they can be dead. The mod adds the chance of identical twins being born, defined by the 'Pregnancy Chance of Identical Twins' option. The option does not increase the chance of twins or triplets.

1. This mod is not compatible with my Dress Naked Mod or any other dresser hacks you may be using 15.) Buy Maternity Clothes At Shop– This mod allows your sims to buy custom maternity clothes at your shops/community lots. 16.) Leap Into Arms Enabled For Pregnant Sims– This mod allows pregnant sims to Leap into other sims arms.
2. An Abortion costs 1.000$. The Abortion Interaction is only available when your Sim is in 1st and 2nd Trimester. Your Sims will get a “Feels Guilty” Buff or a “Feels Relieved” Buff if the have the “Hates Children” Trait. Optional Addon: 7 Days Buff Addon: Instead of 2 Days (Main Mod) the Sad/Happy Buff will be active for 7 Days!
3. “The Sims 3” is a great game, I’ve been a fan of The Sims since the very beginning when it was released in 2000, it became a smash hit that went on to occupy top spots on computer-game best-seller lists for years to come, along with a good number of expansion packs and its in-depth sequel, The Sims 2.

Hospital Overhaul (Scripting Mod)

Abortion & Deworming

This mod allows Sims to end their pregnancy at the hospital and the criminal warehouse. It also allows infested male Sims to be dewormed at the science facilities. Below are the costs of this procedure and its success chance depending on the rabbit hole:

*An unsuccesful abortion results in the birth of a ghost baby†. Male Sims give birth to an alien ghost baby parasite.

†You can download an optional tuning package to prevent the birth of ghost babies. Instead your Sim will be permanently sterilized.

I know late-term abortion is dangerous and controversial. Please note that I only included this option because pregnancies are very short in this game and it's easy to miss the 1^st trimester. Remember it's just a game!

Assisted Suicide

This mod allows Sims to 'go home.' Elders, Unlucky Sims and Sims in a negative mood may be assisted with suicide at the hospital. You can choose their death style and their tombstone:

• Flat Marker (§0)
• Stone Plate (§100)
• Obelisk (§400)
• Sarcophagus - Plain (§800)
• Sarcophagus (§1000)
• Blessed Sarcophagus of the Kings (§4000)
• Cursed Sarcophagus of the Kings (§4000)

If you choose a sarcophagus, the Sim will be mummified and the sarcophagus will be placed in the family inventory.

Donation Services

This mod allows Sims to Donate Plasma and Donate Eggs/Sperm at the hospital. While plasma and egg donors receive a fixed amount for their donation (§100 and §250 respectively), sperm donors are payed based on the quality of their sperm. A 'Horrifying'sperm sample is worth §30 whereas a 'Perfect'one can be sold for §100. The sperm quality is determined by the Sim's weight, fitness, traits, and moodlets.

• If Late Night or Supernatural are installed, donated plasma is handed to thirsty vampires around the neighborhood.
• Egg and sperm samples are kept at the hospital. To clear them, sell the hospital using Build/Buy Mode's Hand Tool.
• Egg and sperm donation is autonomous. The hospital should be filled in no time.
• Sims in university can donate their gametes at the College Of Sciences.

In Vitro Fertilization & Alien Implantation

This mod allows female Sims to be impregnated at the hospital with a sperm and egg sample of their choice. It also allows male Sims to be infested with an alien parasite at the science lab.

Before the impregnation, a 'Create a Baby'dialog will pop up. In it you are required to choose the sperm donor. Additionally you have the option to choose an egg donor or the sex of the baby. Note that sex selection will increase the bill by §750. Below are the costs of the procedure:

Sperm quality determines the success chance of the process: the better the quality, the greater the chance to have a baby. If the process fails, your Sim will be refunded 60% of the total bill.

This mod handles PlantSims differently. For instance, PlantSim sperm will always turn into a Forbidden Fruit of the same quality of the sperm sample. This will also happen if a female PlantSim is impregnated. This means that the only way for PlantSims to procreate is to look for a surrogate mother or harvest a baby from the soil.

PlantSims born from the soil are programmed to have only one parent (the Sim that harvested them). This mod includes a fix for this, so when a married Sim harvests a PlantSim baby, their spouse will also be listed as the newborn's parent!

Sex Reassignment

This mod allows Sims to have a sex reassignment surgery. This interaction will turn a male Sim into a female Sim and vice versa. The cost of this procedure is §6250.

Sex reassignment has been oversimplified due to the game's limitations. Please note that this is not an accurate representation of the real life procedure that some trans people undergo. If you can spare a few minutes, I recommend you to play Dys4ia, an autobiographical indie game about hormone replacement therapy and the life of a trans woman.

Sterilization

This mod allows Sims to be sterilized. Male Sims can get a vasectomy for §250 and females can have their tubes tied for §1100.

Even if your Sim has been sterilized, they will still have the option to Try for Baby. Don't worry, they won't have a baby no matter how much they try.

To reverse sterilization, have your Sim buy the Fertility Treatment lifetime reward.

Surrogacy

This mod allows couples and single Sims to look for a surrogate mother to carry their baby. To arrange a surrogate pregnancy, your Sim can:

• Ask to Be Surrogate Mother to a friend. If she accepts, they will head to the hospital to choose a sperm donor and get the fertilization started.
• Look for a Surrogate Mother at the hospital. If a suitable surrogate is found, she will be impregnated right away.

The cost of surrogacy is §10,600. This includes in vitro fertilization.

Not every couple can arrange a surrogate pregnancy. Before looking for a surrogate mother, make sure your Sim:

• Is unable to bear a child:
  • Single Sims
  • Same-sex couples
  • Couples with at least one mummy, SimBot, imaginary friend, lamp genie, or zombie
• Has not had kids taken by the social worker
• Is not a registered sex offender (Awesomemod only)

To find a suitable surrogate mother, your Sim must befriend a female Sim that matches the following criteria:

• Be young adult or adult
• Have not worked in the Criminal career
• Do not dislike children
• Do not be a tourist, service NPC or alien NPC
• Do not have an assigned role
• Do not be a mummy, SimBot, imaginary friend, lamp genie, zombie, or PlantSim
• Have not had kids taken by the social worker
• Do not be a registered sex offender (Awesomemod only)

Ultrasound Scanning

This mod allows pregnant Sims to know the gender of their baby and whether their pregnancy is multiple by getting an ultrasound scan at the hospital. To select this interaction Sims must be in the 2^nd or 3^rd of their pregnancy.

Once Sims know the gender of their baby, it can't be changed by eating apples or watermelons. However, the chance of having twins or triplets can be changed since the number of babies is determined during the birth sequence.

Please note that the hospital is not equipped to determine the gender of an alien parasite.

Veterinary Services

With this mod Sims can have their pets neutered at the equestrian center. Neutered pets will be able to try for baby, but their efforts will be fruitless. To revert neutering, buy the 'Fertility Treatment'reward.

Ah, the birthing process of a lovable Sim.

Sometimes it feels like it’s just too short, while some Sims make you wish the baby was born already.

Regardless of which type of Sim you have, it’s always fun to better every aspect of the game.

I’ve managed to compile a list of mods that improve pregnancy in the game, in one way or another. I originally intended to add more mods to this list, but most of the pregnancy mods that I came across simply weren’t good enough to make the cut.

So I’ve filtered the best mods all related to pregnancy and ranked them here for you fellow Sims lovers!

Be aware that some of these mods are not particularly light-hearted. Each does serve a purpose and you’ll find them useful in one of two ways: by adding a bit of difficulty to the game, or simply by helping your Sim pass her pregnancy in a much more comfortable way.

Also yes, there are mods that allow male Sims to undergo pregnancy. There are way too many to tell which one is the best so just have a look in Google and pick your favorite from there. I’m just pointing this out in case you’re interested in installing one of those!

10. Instant Morning Sickness

This mod removes the mood that your female Sims get when they’re pregnant that warns you about morning sickness.

I mean, it doesn’t make sense for it to be warned, right?

In real life, women have to deal with sudden puking. And so should your Sim!

This is one of the mods that increase the difficulty, as I said in the intro of this article. But they also make the game feel more realistic. Give it a go if you dare.

9. Bad Parent Trait

Not everyone wants to be a parent.

In fact, some people rejoice on the fact that they don’t have to raise children of their own.

This is a trait that makes your Sim be happy when children are not born, and it’s a great complement to add to the game as a different perspective of pregnancy and what happens when it fails.

Maybe one of your Sims might be happy that the baby wasn’t born while the other might be devastated.

How will they deal with the situation?

Just one of many fun traits you can add into your Sims 4 experience.

8. Pregnancy Mega Mod

First of all, bear in mind that this mod is not meant to be fair.

It’s just an add-on that allows you to fully control how pregnancies work and how will they go.

If you want to cancel a pregnancy, you can.

Or you can even set the number of babies that will be born and their genders.

It’s a great mod if you wish to play god for a bit… but trust me – if you’re looking for a vanilla safe or a traditional legacy playstyle, this isn’t the way to go.

Still fun to take full control every so often though.

7. Shorter/Longer Pregnancy Mod

If you don’t have MC Command Center installed but you still wish to have the ability to control pregnancy times, then this mod might be ideal for you.

You will be able to manually set the pregnancy time of women to change to any given amount that you want.

Adapt pregnancies to your own preferred length of play with this amazing add-on!

6. Sims 4 Risky Woohoo

The Risky Woohoo mod, as the name suggests, add certain risks to having sex in The Sims 4.

Some sims might be infertile, while others can be extremely fertile.

Yes, extremely fertile. Welcome to the future of gaming.

You can even have babies with ghosts if you want!

This mod is meant to add some spiciness to the game world by introducing more risks to pregnancy and intercourse.

A great mod overall, but not as complex as others on this list. Although a not-too-complex mod might be just what you’re looking for.

5. Teen Pregnancy Mod

Well this mod is just what the name suggests.

It allows teenagers to have sex in the game. I know what you’re thinking and no, this isn’t illegal because TECHNICALLY teens can be 18+.

Also they’re digital and not real people.

And this still feels a bit wrong, but hey to each their own.

Maybe you’re a teen yourself and you know what you’re doing. Or maybe you want to recreate a Sims version of Teen Mom. Who knows!

This is still one of the most popular mods in the community and it needs a spot on my list.

4. Impregnate with Simray

Let’s jump straight into something a bit more lighthearted, shall we?

This mod allows you to use the SimRay by altering its “transform” function and turning it into “impregnate”.

Basically, you can shoot a baby inside a woman without having her woohoo or anything like that.

God this Sims-speak is really getting to me…

Let’s call this a puritan way in which you can have pregnancies to work in The Sims 4, as wrong as that may sound.

3. MC Command Center

If you want to edit the length of pregnancies and other stuff related to how pregnancy works in the world of The Sims 4, I think there’s no better mod for you to download than the MC Command Center.

This gives you access to a control console where you’ll be able to alter most aspects of the game.

In fact, just download this mod and toy around for 5 minutes. You’ll thank me later.

2. Pregnancy Mood Buffs

Everyone feels different about pregnancy. And this mod allows you to choose how your Sim will feel while they’re expecting a baby.

Maybe they are embarrassed to be pregnant, or maybe they will be sad or anxious.

It’s up to you to decide, like the god that you are.

1. Wicked Whims

I know that Wicked Whims has always been associated with sex over anything else.

But trust me, this mod has evolved to become the best addition to a Sims game in quite a while.

The newer relationship changes make establishing relationships a much more crucial part of the game. And pregnancies become a whole other issue with the addition of menstrual cycles.

A fantastic addition that also serves a good purpose for the adult-aged Sims lover.
